East Side High School Tigers JV Basketball will be playing their first game on Monday December 16th.  They will be playing against Stuyvesant High School at Stuyvesant. The team is lead by Coach Al.

The team played two scrimmages in preseason, and already has the championship on their mind.  “I’m so excited to have a starting position on the team. The past two scrimmages we’ve played it’s clear the team has good chemistry, but we still need to work on a few things.  I think we could be better at passing the ball more, calling stuff out more, and boxing out. With this team I know we can go far. I’ve played with some of the players since Middle School and one year we made it to the Final Four for the city championship,” says Aaron Collazo a shooting guard on the ES Tigers.

The Tigers received new uniforms this year.  The uniforms included: a duffel bag, warm up sweatshirt, and reversible jerseys for both home and away games.  Come and show love and support next week. Let’s go Tigers!
